Land Surveying - United States Forest Service
Crafton Tull has completed multiple large-scale land surveying projects for the United States Forest Service in Arkansas. Many of these projects involved researching General Land Office (GLO) plats and field notes, courthouse records, and US Forest Service records to determine title line and corner locations. In some cases, the research uncovered evidence of surveys completed more than 165 years ago. Our team used Total Station traverse or GPS methods to evaluate records and incorporate them into the survey to make computations. In accordance with US Forest Service standards, missing corners are monumented, and title lines are marked.
